Intense, dark cherry red colour with garnet red reflections. Remarkable aromas of blackcurrants and strawberries with hints of toast, coffee and cedar in the background with the backbone remaining distinctly fruit-driven. This tasteful and ripe character continues on the palate with a wonderfully balanced tannin structure that never overpowers but adds class and body to the whole. The finish is long and impressive.
This wine deserves tasty meat dishes like aged entrecote, roast beef, lamb or fine game like doe and roebuck. Also delicious with cold meats or strongly aged cheeses.

The harvest is done manually under the cold of the night. All plots are initially fermented separately under controlled temperature. Then the 2 grapes and different plots are reassembled together and the wine rests further for 1 year in French oak before being aged for an additional 6 months in American oak.
