Beautiful, glossy ruby red color with purple reflection. Ripe nose of black plums, blackberries and a hint of violets. Wonderfully round and juicy taste. In the mouth we experience the same ripe, fruity sensations with notes of wood and a touch of toast. The final is as seductive and luscious as the start would suggest. Bendigo has a warm and temperate climate with precipitation throughout the year. Winters are mild with more precipitation than summer. Hilltops has a continental climate with warm summers and fairly cold winters due to its higher elevation. Heathcote has a warm Mediterranean climate with mild winters and summers that avoid extremes. The temperature in summer is 2-3 degrees less than less than 100 km away. Precipitation is evenly distributed throughout the year.

Heathcote (Victoria): A mixture of 2 different surfaces. The typical red clay/loam soils with good water management and poorer, poor sandy soils with boulders and a deep layer of clay in the subsoil. Bendigo (Victoria): Vineyards at 200m altitude. Lime/clay with sandy top layer with stones. Hilltops (New South Wales): Vineyards at 400-600m altitude. Soil of gravel, basalt and sandy granite.

Grapes are picked in the cool of the morning. Fermentation on stainless steel under controlled temperature. The wine then rests on a blend of stainless steel, American and French oak. The blend is fine-tuned before bottling.
